Today, you will begin working on your Book Award Project in small groups. Here are your jobs for the day: 

 

If you are researching:

 

1. Research the award.

2. Find at least 3 book images that have won the award.

3. Take a picture of group members. 

4. Start creating your presentation. 

5. Read the Rubric so you know what to include!

6. If you finish early, begin practicing your presentation.

 

If you are creating:

 

1. Come up with the name of your award.

2. Write the purpose for your award. Also consider, what is the criteria for books to win this award? Fill out form

   1. Our Book Award Proposal

3. Create a seal or medal that will be placed on books for your award using KidPix or hand drawing.

4. Find at least 3 book images that have won the award.

5. Take a picture of group members. 

6. Start creating your presentation. 

7. Read the Rubric so you know what to include!

8. If you finish early, begin practicing your presentation.
